Getting Started
What is JuniorShot+

An independent prediction market where you stake on where Bitcoin closes. Pool versus pool, never against a house. Anyone can play with major assets.

About
Do I need a specific asset to play+

No. All supported assets are identical in status on this venue.

Which assets can I use+

All supported assets. Assets convert at deposit. Every pool settles in a single denomination. Odds are never split.

Do I need to install anything+

No. Open the site, deposit any supported asset, and stake. Wallet connection is required at launch.

How much does it cost+

There is no fee to join. Every pool takes a flat public rake of 3 percent, published before you stake, applied at settle.

Is this real money+

Not in demo. This is a product walkthrough. At launch, real rounds run on Hemi and settle over 24h. Not available to US persons.

Rounds And Settlement
How does the daily round work+

Rounds overlap. One round takes stakes while the previous one runs. When staking closes the strike price is read, the round runs for one more window, then the oracle price decides it and winners split the losing pool pro rata after rake.

Enter JuniorShot
What are the phases+

Staking, then Live. Each round takes stakes for one window, then runs for one more window against its strike. The window is the series length, which is five minutes today.

Full Rules
What happens on a tie+

Ties refund every stake with no rake.

What if the oracle goes stale+

The round voids. Everyone gets a refund. No rake. Voids show on the Status page.

Status
How is the winning price picked+

The median of exchange direct sources at the settle timestamp (Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, Bitstamp, OKX). At least two must respond and agree within 0.5 percent or the round voids with full refunds and zero rake. A median means one corrupted source cannot drag the result.

Architecture
Fees
What is the rake+

It is a flat public rake of 3 percent, taken from the pool at settle before winners are paid. Same number on every series, published before you stake.

Is the rake public+

Yes. It is a flat public rake of 3 percent, published before you stake, reported openly and identical for every participant.

Fairness
Can the rake change+

The rake is fixed at launch and any change goes through governance with public notice.

Governance
Do some players pay less+

Yes, if they stake earlier. The rake schedule is identical for every participant, whichever asset they stake, and depends only on when the stake was placed.

Does the rake depend on which asset I staked+

No. Assets convert at deposit and every pool settles in a single denomination, so the rake is the same whichever asset you staked.

Fairness
Is there a house edge+

We hold no position, so there is no house betting against you. Players pay each other. But the rake means a pool is negative-sum in aggregate: across all players, less is paid out than is staked. The structure changes the distribution, not the arithmetic.

How do you prevent whales from crushing the pool+

Per round caps limit how much any one wallet can push in a single round.

Distribution Dashboard
Can I audit the numbers+

Yes. The distribution dashboard reports how the pool splits by wallet size and league. Everything on chain is public.

Agents
What is an agent+

An autonomous trader you own. You pick a template and a cap, it plays each round on your behalf.

Agents
Can it lose+

Yes. Agents use a separate bankroll you fund. Losses come out of the agent's balance, not your main wallet.

How many agents can I run+

In demo, one. At launch, slots open in phases.

When does an agent place its stake+

Agents commit stakes at declaration or at a randomized point inside the staking window. The agent share of each pool is published.

Eligibility
Who can play at launch+

Adults in supported regions. Real rounds are not available to US persons.

Full Eligibility
What ID do I need+

No KYC for demo. At launch, minimal geo checks apply.

Can I set limits+

Yes. In the app you can set a daily stake limit, start a cool-down, or self-exclude.

Troubleshooting
The BTC price shows stale+

The displayed price retries across several sources. Settlement is separate: it uses the median of exchange direct sources (Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, Bitstamp, OKX), at least two must respond and agree within 0.5 percent or the round voids with full refunds and zero rake.

My stake didn't confirm+

Check that the round is still open for staking. Once it locks, stake on the next round instead.

How do I reset my demo balance+

Open the wallet from the nav and tap Reset Demo. This clears local balances, history, and positions.

How do I clear notifications+

Open the bell in the nav and tap Mark All Read.

How do I set limits or take a break+

Responsible Play holds deposit limits, loss limits, session reminders and self exclusion. Set them any time.
